Millinery Wire

A cotton covered steel wire. Used in the millinery industry to support the outer edge of a hat brim creating unique forms in a model millinery situation. Don’t be fooled by the name! Millinery Wire is also used in forestry and flower making as well as jewellery making, furnishing, accessories and clothing. Due to its special cotton covering, it produces a non-slip feel, in turn , making it versatile.

The wire is 1mm in diameter making it easy to form and also relatively light in weight.
Available in Black and White.
Sold on 25m coils.
